Using Peas As A Laxative For Pregnant Cory

Hey all. I have had an emerald catfish (cory) pregnant for a while and she hasn't passed her eggs because of the water parameters. Should I use shelled peas to help her pass them.

No, peas won't help, if she really is gravid. Try a cold water change to induce spawning?

ok so I should do a cold water change. my tap water comes with a ph of 8.2 and a hardness of 180+ but I will be getting bogwood soon.
