Using Ozone In A Nano

Whats your opinions on using ozone in a nano reef aquarium? I have an ozone generator which I am currently running on my 250l Malawi cichlid tank. I was considering moving this to my nano reef as it has given excellent results previously at returning crystal clear water. However I have been told by some people that this would be unnecessary and possibly may even kill micro organisms within a reef environment. On the other hand I have also heard that using ozone in a reef tank dramatically increases the efficiency of protein skimming.
Any opinions would be welcome

my LFS has one running on a 4 gal tank and ever thing looks great . i will also be running one when i get around to buying one .

I think ill wait and see if it is needed. From the lack of response I presume that none of you have experience with this kit?

Rob, do you plan to use yours directly connected to the skimmer or separately?

in two minde at the moment, i i would like to run a skimmer on the little tank but it will take up tomuch room

No...in general...ozone on a nano is not considered to be a good idea. There is a post on this if you use the search button. SH

hmm, i dont see how it could be bad, big tank, more ozone, small tank, less ozone.... Thats one of the reasons why i dont see why people say protein skimmers are bad for nanos (they may not be needed since water changes are so easy, but i dont see how they can be bad....)
