So BBA has slowly been spreading in my 60L. I have decreased lighting, stopped all ferts for the last two months and increased WCs. Only for it to continue to spread. I'm not aware of current CO2 levels as I don't inject, but I do have an airstone running most of the day, so I don't see that being a cause. Filtration is a Fluval U3 (overkill for this-sized aquarium). Which leads me to think it's a nutrient imbalance. I have a vast range of plants including water lettuce, which I thought would be sufficient. It seems not. Now comes my question: Would a plant like greater duckweed be a better option? because you know it's duckweed. I have experience with its smaller brother, which did a great job apart from its inability to die.

No floater I've tried seems to have affected bba. They just become a hat above the beard.
