Ok, so I have been reading and reading and reading around using AquaClear filters as mini fuges and I have a few questions.
I can not fit the AC110(500) on my 10g as there is lighting that is also fixed on the back pane and if I move it too much it shines in all the wrong places.
I can however fit an AC70(300) on the tank, my original plan was to use it as a fuge but having read up on it I realise that it may not be big enough for that purpose.
Therefore I have now thought about adding 1/2 inch of LS and some LR rubble into the mix and maybe a crab/snail (not sure if thats a good idea though). Will this benefit my tank as I can not have a sump and the hang on is my only option. I also am wondering whether I would be able to fit in a stumpy 50w heater?
Any ideas?
