How about a thread of non aquarium items that can be useful in the hobby?

For example, I bought a set of these magnetic strips for holding knifes. The are perfect for holding my aquascaping equipment and other gear.

I have exposed rafters behind my built in aquariums, so I have nails / screws in them to hang my tools

I do keep a good scissors in my aquarium tools, & all the new heaters have the little digital readouts... those just stick on to a surface... I've found the need to keep a pack of those Command stick on picture hooks, the refill sticky pack the little sticky pads I've found several uses for

I use Command Hooks for the things that won't stick to the magnets. I also use them to hang extention cord outlets or power strips to create drip loops.

There are a lot of things at my place that I use for the aquatic hobby but were meant for other things. For I like to think creative. And you can put the price down to establish certain things instead of buying stuff that are specifically made for the aquatic hobby. There's nothing wrong with creative thinking... ;)
