I posted a thread the other day about our fry
http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=217342

The fine threads on the glass are now moving
Any ideas what it could be??? They are like worms

Can it be treated??? Even with fry in there???

Thanks in advance the other half is more knowledgable than me but he's working away grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Thanks, I'm only just getting into this tropical lark
I'm enjoying it but it can be confusing at times

I'll keep my eye on then

Do they match the description on that wikipedia page? Hopefully thats all they are, but you never know :|
I'm not sure  because the pictures are enlarged. They are live very very fine threads of cotton
This is all very confusing

I knew I'd be left looking after the beauty's with very little knowledge, thank goodness for this site

The worms will be fine, ive had a few myself. To get rid of them just reduce feeding to a minimum and be veyr vigilant with your water changes. They live off ammonia.

Few more pics here:

If you're worried, increase the frequency of your water changes as good tank maintenance is what seems to be the recommended way of getting rid of them.
Thank you again they look like and the description matches the first one on that page

The only fish in this tank are 5 guppy fry.
How often should I be doing a partial water change in this tank
It hasn't been done yet and they have been in it for nearly 2 weeks
