It has been bullied by my barcoo grunter and now if floating round and swimming upside down. I put salt in the water, what else can i do, please help.

It sounds like swim bladder disease (I'm not sure that it has anything to do with your barcoo grunter, though that may have stressed it out).

This might be caused if your fish is too cold, or, seeing as it's summer, by constipation or even fatty degeneration of the tissues of the swim bladder itself.

In the case of constipation:
The fish may be cured by giving the fish some dried food that has been soaked in cod liver or castor oil. If it turns its nose up at that, a couple drops of the oil can be poured directly down its throat.
This treatment works quite fast. After it has been treated, however, it should not be fed for five days. For a couple of days afterwards, it should be fed only green foods, such as algae tablets.
Constipation is originally a result of incorrect feeding or poor quality fish foods, and can be avoided by feeding your fish with a variety of different foods.

Fatty degeneration of the internal organs is one of the most common causes of death among aquarium fishes. It is also caused by incorrect feeding: too many foodstuffs with too much fat and carbohydrates. Like constipation, this can also be be avoided feeding your fish with a variety of foods.

As said once a fish loses balance it is usually a sure sign that the swim bladder has been damaged in some way, in my experience fish that have started to float upside down are a lost cause and should be euthanised ASAP to prevent unessesary suffering :(

If you feel you are unable to do this then remove the archer to a seperate tank somewhere quiet in the house and treat with melafix to try to prevent any further infections, then hope for the best.
