Urgent Tank cracked

Urgent my fish tank cracked as soon as I saw it spilling I got a container and tipped everything out of the container it had Christmas decorations in it and ther is some glitter in it I filled it up to the top and the tank is about 1 quarter full the fish and the baby’s are in ther tank still I’m not sure if I should move them to the tub because ther was glitter in the tub what do you think

Do you know where the source of the leak is? If it is above the water line you can take the time to clean the container. Don't worry about conserving the water you already took out of the tank, use new - just remember to dechlorinate and temperature match.

Can you use a net to scoop the glitter out
It's unlikely to cause a problem but might if it has been exposed to chemicals.

You could dump the water from the container and rinse it out, then use the remaining water from the tank, add the fish, and then top it up with dechlorinated water.

Move the filter and heater into the container with the babies.

I think I’m going to move the adult fish and the baby’s to the tub and put lots of declorinator in ther and ther is some benificial bacteria in ther form the rock and plants and stuff so I think they should be fine and I’ll add heaters and some filters

I’m scared to take all the water out because it had all the bacteria in it form the rocks and plants and stuff

There are very few bacteria in the water column, they live on hard surfaces (like the rocks). I don't imagine the glitter is a threat unless it is ingested, get as much out as possible.

Yeah ther is like barley any I’ll get as much out and the green terrors ther is some baby’s to Wich I might be getting a tank soon anyway
