URGENT! SICK MOLLY

ok since she looks heavy and is having difficulties swimming i susped 1 of 2 things:

1) most likely she is heavily pregnant and may be stressed due to other mollies not leaving her alone, or the pregnancy itself...it is also possible she may be having birthing difficulties in which case i don't know what you can do...

2) if she is def. not pregnant she may be bloated...try feeding some peas and see if you can skinny her up a little...also try feeding the other fish less until this is all straigthened out...

both of these could cause her to become dark quickly and would explain the heavy look and difficulties moving...

The only explanation i could give as to the color change is that dalmation mollys have been known to do this and i have seen it myself in their fry- due to my female dalmations coloring being very dark(she's more of a marbled molly than a dalmation) her fry always apear black or very dark grey when first born, even so when the fry start to get older i always end up with some turning very light grey with silver coloring and by the time they are half grown, some have of the light ones have yet again reverted back to their dark coloring. I have also seen this with other peoples dalmation mollys and is apparently completely normal, although i would have expected it to take longer than an overnight change. Even if your molly was pure white it does not mean she doesn't nesarsarily have dalmation genes in her.
As to her swimming problems, does she appear not to be able to maintain balance properly in the water or stay upright- what is her breathing like? Do you have any recent ammonia, nitrate and nitrite stats at hand you can post here for us to see? I would do a 40% water change with dechlorinator right now.
How many gallons does the tank she is in hold and what other and how many fish is she with?
I dont believe she is dalmation molly, my molly had "some" very clearly dark spots within a couple of months, but the rest of her body remains shiny white.
