Urgent! Please Help Should I Treat The Tank

 That is so funny. I did the same with my cherry barbs, a few hours after I got them I saw something hanging out of one of the males, I was all ready to post "OMG there is something hanging out of my Cherry Barb" when I realized it was poo. I am so glad I realized that before I posted. But in my defence, it was a really long poo. Needless to say he is fine.
 now thats funny! :good:

So the fish is back to normal now.

Hi Wilder, yes he appears to be "normal" he still goes down to the bottom of the tank periodically, right by the filter intake and stays there for about 20-30 minutes or so, then rejoins the group. I think the pale thing was a lighting thing, and I panicked, because he looks normal colour now, he does look pale occasionally, but it really depends on where he is in the tank. If is with the rest of the fish his colour is fine, but when he goes to the bottom he is pale. Because of where the tank is if he is down by the filter intake I can only see him from the side of the tank, so I think it may be a lighting issue, the way the light reflects when I look at it from the side. It is an acrylic tank so I don't know if that has something to do with the way the light reflects. But he is still separating from the "herd" for about 20-30 minutes each time and he does it about 4-5 times a day. I am assuming this is normal, because he has no other symptoms other then going down by the filter intake and kind of hovers there for about half an hour. Other than that he is fine, swimming and eating normally.

It looks like the one I was worried about is turning pale!
I have noticed in my harlequins that some become pale from time to time when i turn on the tank lights and then beome good as new abot 5 minutes later

I would just keep a close eye on him.
When he rests by the filter does he lean to oneside.

Nope does not lean, looks totally normal, he just swims in the one spot, kind of like when they are sleeping, just stays in the one spot. A few times when he is down there I have seen him open and close his mouth, sort of like rapid breathing, but not sure. It almost looks like he is stuck in the current of the filter intake, and just when I think he is stuck and that he can't swim out of the current he does. He never gets too close enough to the filter intake, probably a couple of inches away from it, he has never gotten stuck to the filter intake, and he is always able to swim back up at rejoin the group. I actually have not seen him do it at all today, so maybe he just needed a little more time to get used to the surroundings. I am still watching him but so far today nothing unusual, I have not seen him looking pale (well in the morning they all kind of look pale but it goes away once the light has been on for a few minutes), not even the odd behaviour.

Well I think everything is ok now, I have not seen him go to the bottom of the tank once today, he has been swimming with the rest, well actualy being a bit of a bully to the rest  . But he is brightly coloured and shiny. All signs of odd behaviour are gone. I don't know, I guess he eithor needed a little more time to get used to the new surrondings, or I was panicking for no reason (I think most likely the latter  ).

Thanks to Wilder and everyone else for posting.

Bless Him.
Sounds like he was abit stressed due to the journey, and the new tank, and enviroment.
