i need a simple way of keeping a 2l coke bottle warm enough in order to house a female for a day or so.

How cold is your house cause your betta should be ok in romm temp water for 2 days. Most people dont even keep there bettas in heated tanks even though they prefer it but it should be ok in room temp water for 2 days.

i live in UK... room temp like 18-20 degrees.. i dont think it will be warm enuff...

definatly not..Could you get a breeding net? there only a couple of quid.Or you could if possible lower the water level on one of your tank and it should sit on the bottom.Just a thought....

Either use a small utility clamp, or punch a couple holes in the rim of the 2l bottle for wire, & wire it to the rim of the tank.
