Right i have had whitespot in my tank. so today i notice to neons misses and i have found them Dead this is the following result are

PH Light blue 7.5
Nitrite Test NO-2 Was dark pink say in box 10mg/l DEADLY

So i have done a 50% water change remove the dead fish and clean the filters in tank water. Can anyone tell what ealse to do so i dont loss anymore fish

Do you not have an ammonia test?

If not then can you get to an LFS at all that will test your water?

Reckon all you can do is keep changing water - I'd do another 50% now and again in a couple of hours if the NitrIte is that high.

Did you half dose the waterlife med with having neons. They are very sensitive to whitespot meds.


Meds can knock water stats abit. But not that high.

How many fish and which type.
How long has the tank been set up.
How long do you think the neons were dead for.

and now Now 7 Neons

Your tanks ovestocked if its only a 12 to 15 gallon.
You can't keep two red tailed sharks together because they don't tolerate there own kind.
They need large tanks of 40 gallons.

Cheers i spoke to the guy in the shop and he told me that that i could get more fish it looks like there is loads of room in it.

Research the fish before you buy for tank size, adult size, conpatability.
