Urgent - Filter Leaking

HI

The tap on my aquaone external filter is leaking. its the part that at the bottom where it connects with the filter.

Any ideas how to solve the leaking tempory as the shops are shut!

How long can fish cope without a filer. I got a air pump can they survie on that until tomorrow after noon??

Look around the house, build one of these using the media from the filter that is down; http/www.fishforums.net/content/Aquarium...-sponge-filter/

You don't have to use a fish food container, a friend of mine used 2 pound margarine tubs.

Could always try good old gaffa tape (duck tape) as a temp measure. It is semi waterproof, and should hod till tomorrow. Depending on the size of the leak of course. If lots of water is being lost, Tolaks surgestion is best. If the leak is small, I'd try the gaffa, and stand the filter in a bucket to catch any drips
