Urgent Filter Help Needed

had to turn the house electrics off for a short while today and when i turned it back on my filter has stopped working.

does anyone know what i can do, it is running but not taking any water in.

help please

sounds like it air locked - is it an external or an internal?

If its an internal give it a shake and fingers crossed it'll come to life - if not start taking it apart...

If its an external - the syphon effect will have stalled and you will need to get it going again...

cheers, went on manufacturers site and found out that i had to get sucking to get it working again. job done.
