Urgent Cloudy Water

yesterday it was clear today its cloudy. it a 5 gal with 11 molly fry and a apple snail. i have a air pump/filter but the air pump is crap.

heres a pic of my tank yesterday nice and clear the green think in the back ground is the filter/pump.



should i get i sponge filter and would it be able to be a air pump?

advice please

found some on ebay sponge filters and would thse help me?

Just add a mature sponge onto the airstone just cut a hole into the sponge and slot in onto the tube.
How much are you feeding the fry as that can cloud the water up.
Whats are your stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.
 
i am doing proper feedering when they finish eating i take it away. normally i never test the water because the air bubles sorted it out. my dad just moved it and fiddled around and its now shooting buble out so hopefully it clears up. thanks wilder for ur reponse. if it doen't work i will use ur idea cheers
 
Test the water need to look at your stats.
Its only a 5 gal and feeding can soon alter stats.
