Urgent Adf Help Please!

Hi guys and girls

Have had my pair of ADF's just over 8 months now. When my gf went to work this morning she said it looked like they were mating. Saw them at it again just now, and the smaller one of the two is on the other one's back, with his front arms grasping tightly round the other's belly, so much so that his/her insides are being squeezed up its body!

They were even upside down, and the other one wouldn't let go, and it looked like the other one was in a bit of pain. I managed to split them up by touching the one on top with a glass cleaner stick, as I was getting quite worried.

What was it they were doing? I presume it has been going on all day, and have never seen anything like it before.

Yeah sounds like they are trying to breed, my male grabs onto the female and won't let go for a long long time. This site may be of use to you, it has a little info about breeding as well as other adf stuff;

sorry for the slow reply, have been away for a couple of days. Thanks for the replies, yes they are both still happy, they were mating for a couple of days, randy little buggers
