Upside Down Fish On The Bottom Of My Tank.

as the title says i have a upside down fish on the bottom of my tank.

question is it dead i know this may sound silly to ask but minutes before it was swimming round fast and all seemed ok so just seems really starnge.

Nudge it with a net. If it doesnt move, take it out and watch its gills. If they're not moving, it's dead. If they ARE moving, and you think it's dying, it might be better to put it out it's misery.

Difficult to tell without actually seeing it.

If its a loach, they often just lay on their sides and relax for minutes at a time.

If its upside down? It's probably dead/dying.
