Hi Fishy People,

It's been a while since I've posted on here so i hope everybody is all well. I just need a little advice if possible. I currently have a Fluval Roma 90 with a u2 internal filter. I've just won and auction on Ebay for a Roma 125 with a 205 external filter and all the fish currently in the tank. I'm going to collect it on Saturday morning but i'm just a little worried about mixing my current stock with the new fish. The guy I've purchased the tank off is not sure what type of fish are in his tank and the only fish i can make out from the photo's are the 2 Clown loach. I'm guessing all these fish including my own will be too much for the Roma 125 and the 205 filter but which can or can't be put together?

can anybody see from the photo's what other species of fish are in the tank?

My current stock in the Roma 90 is:

5 Bronze Corys
6 Pentazona Barbs
1 Blue Gourami
2 dwarf golden gourami
small plec i think is called a Clown Plec (I can't remember the name but i was told its one that doesn't grow too big)

Thanks for looking!!!

Rainbow cichlid maybe?
Clown loach
Looks like 1 peppered cory at least
Neon tetras and maybe black neon's.

All the others should be fine with your currently stocking....apart from the clowns (because they need a bigger tank).... and maybe the cichlids possibly due to aggression?.

I'm a little concerned about my Gourami especially the blue Gourami becasue he seems to be the dominant tank member and sometimes chases around the other Golden Gourami. If they turn out to be Cichlids will they be aggressive towards the Gourami?

They are definitely cichlids mate but which type i'm not entirely sure.... from a quick google search they do look like them but with my limited experience with cichlids, i'm not to sure how aggressive they are.... however there is a possibility they will become the dominant pair in the tank, and if they are male and female and breed, they will become even more aggressive while defending there clutch.

You will need to wait for someone who know abit more abit cichlids i think to get a definitive answer, sorry!.

They seem to be Rainbow cichlids to me too. I'd post in the New World section, and ask the guys on there for a definite ID and for advice on whether they'll be compatible or not :)
