Update On My 120g

so are they together? I want to get one with my Jacks, but im not sure. my stocking is a raehpeal cat 2 jacks, and maybe oe of those. hmmmmmmmmmm

yes they are together i think and very happily

my jack stays around the bottom of the tank and my oscar runs the top, and when they see each other nothing happens

no battles, they both just want to eat

nice pics but that bichir looks like it needs fattening up a bit what are feeding it?

he eats a few things

he goes for:

bloodworms
tilipia
nightcrawlers
shrimp

most anything that fits in his mouth, the first picture is when i just got him and he really needed to be fattened up, now he is pretty fat

My Oscar and JD get along great. The only time we had any prolems was when we removed a catfish that the oscar was bullying. He was extremely po'd that we took his "punching bag" away and started in on the jack. My hubby was worried for the jack and I told him just wait, they're not called a Jack Dempsey for nothing. Sure enough we left for awhile, came back and the oscar had a lovely nip in his side and was missing several scales. Now peace has been restored and they're back in love
