Update On Molly

Hey everyone

just an update on my mollie who is most definately pregnant lol. i have moved her to a seperate tank now to give birth. its actually designed for 2 goldfish so she looks a little bit lostin there lol. i put plenty of plants and rocks etc in it for the fry to hide in. the temp is currently 76.
ive moved the other female molly in there with her for company because i thinks its a few days yet at least and i didnt want her to be lonely. as soon as she looks like shes going to pop i`ll move the other molly out.
i`ve notice that she is hiding a lot and moving things around the tank etc is this normal behaviour?? almost like shes nesting. she also is constantly is looking for food so i`ve been giving her food in two loads once morning once evening. i`m not feeding her more than a little extra but am trying to spread it through the day.
how does this sound to all you experts??? am i doing okay??? anything else i need to think of???

i have some food for the fry which is finely powdered flake food and as soon as they are born i`ll get some water fleas or baby brine shrimp.

its my first batch so i want to save them, in future we leaving it to naure in the community tank. when we adopted the tank from my old neighbours they said they never ever breed within a few weeks of tips from here and some research i`m expecting my first litter(?). all thanks to you guys.

Just another quick update.

Ive now had to move the black female back to the community tank because mum was getting a bit terratorial and nippy. shes still getting bigger which is amazing.very hungry and very jumpy, even turning the living room light on makes her zoom around the tank so ive lightly covered the main section of the tank so shes has some peace and quiet and its quite dark in there for her. also when you see her in the right light you can see all these little dark balls inside her belly which could be the fry?? if they are they arent far off birth siz if at all.
im still watching her loads to check no ones comes out yet lol.

does anyone have a picture or a link to the biology of a fish??? i want to work out if it is the babys im seeing or just her guts tc

if its little black dots you are seeing its probably the eyes of the fry
