hello again and I just wondering about some questions i have. Well that I could find, my guppy had 9 fry that survived. I put them in a fish net breeder and 2 died on transportation. Now before, when they were in a jar. I cleaned out the tank and let the filter run for a few hours. Then I put the fish back in and all was well. This morning, to my surprise, A HUGE SURPRISE, there was a little fry in the tank. I knew he didnt escape the breeder because 7 were still there and now I have 8. Could he have been another young that was born or just and amazing survivor?

Questions now: *I think I may have a male guppy in the tank with a female. How can u tell?
*My guppy fry don't seem to be noticing the food (Nutrafix basix- Staple food for fry..dust powder thing) when I place it in. In the morning, it has dispeared but has it fallen through the net breeder?
And finally, what colours are rare in guppies? I have 2 very nice red butterfly coloured guppies (adults).

Thanks

Your Guppies will eat when they are hungry. Crushed flake food floats for a while before it absorbs a lot of water, so I would crush some up and see what happens. They may not eat for the first couple days. That is normal.

Well it's intresting to see you got some loverly little fry, have fun rearing them.

Their are few rare colour's in their are lime lines which are difficualt to get like the moscow blue's, males are in shops but getting true females are difficualt and sell them for £20 a pair

New lines are alwats comething through and being worked on.

Those fish are gorgeous. I almost never see blues in freshwater fish like that. Those colors are brilliant.

To get the colour in the head is very difficualt, but the moscow blue is loverly, their been around 15 years but have only just got to the uk.
Now their a couple of other's with that colour in the head but colourd tails, yet I've only ever seen one fish and waiting to get some, expecting to pay £30-50 a pair for them.

Not bad for a new line of fish.
