It's out and had a swim around but has gone back staring out the glass. It is openeing and closing it's mouth non stop. Plus I think it's actually a boy as it has the pointy tail fin towards it's back end.

He's probably been in a fight or has an infection. I couldn't say anything more about this though, so could you try to describe what he's like a little more?
Also, now you've got another male, you've got 6 males to 3 females. This should be the other way round. You really need to think about putting in more females or swapping some fish so they're all the same gender, else the males could harass the females a lot.

Well when I got them 3 at a time I was told had 2 females and one male all 3 times. But having looked up on the net more have the pointy tail fin. I can defo see the girls but a lot have the pinty fin so god knows.

Anyway it is pictured in my other thread. It is just sitting at the very bottom of the tank in a cave thing I have hidden right at the back. It won't eat. I even put some blood worms in with it. It came out briefly awas opening and closing it's mouth a lot then went back in the cave.

If another fish goes in it stays where it is until they come up to it and it sort of goes for them till they leave then it goes back to it's hiding place. It sort of looks like it has a back patch on it's nose.

Yesterday it was in the water in the middle just still like when they sleep at night. Just still in the water staring out the glass. Platy fry were found in the tank yesterday, only a few I think maybe the rest got eaten.

I think it's front stomach looks a bit bloated. It defo doesn't like any of the others going near it.

All the others are eating and swimming around fine.

I'm making myself paranoid here worrying about my other fish. I turned the filter at the top part to direct the flow a different way and it reduced the current a bit for my female Betta. I have an airstone plus the wtaer is agitated at the top rippling with bubbles now I'm thinking maybe they don't have enough air?

Yeah, I think you're worrying too much. Just leave them be for a while and see how they get on.
