Hey ya'll..I have this guppy which keeps trying to swim up the lip of the filter that hangs over the edge of the tank. Is this normal? The other guppies don't exhibit this behavior at all. Its always the same one. So weird...
(what can he be thinking i wonder..???)

he might be swimming in the current because there isnt enough oxygen in the tank.

Or he might just be doing it for fun :) I dont know about guppies as thankfully I have never kept them but I have had a lot of other fish that liked to swim against the current.

If there was a lack of oxygen in the tank it is likely all the fish would be gasping and near the surface of the water.

Agreed! The rest of the fish seem fine. None of them are gasping for air and are acting like....um..fish. ;)
