Hi there, i dont profess to be an expert in this as i am a newbie too, but when i set my tank up 10 days ago it was a bit cloudy but it was crystal clear within a couple of days. I think its down to the type of filter you have but you have to give the filter time to do its work. Its they 'cycling' the tank that you will have to be patient with as i am learning there are so many things that can go wrong. Some say fishless cycling, some do as i have done and added a few hardy fish to get the cycle going. The fishless way seems to be more popular as it has no impact on the fish, as their are none. There are some people on this forum who are prepared to donate matured media like to get you going depending on what route you take. Good luck with your new tank.GRJ

No worries! It's usually because of the new decorations and such. Leeches lots of debris and stuff into the water. But before you put the fish in, did you wait for at least 2 days for the water to settle in?
