hi all,

I have a 63l which I bought to keep guppys. my question though is, what do you do with fry, if you can't find a lfs to take them off you? (as filling the house up with tanks is a defo no no, i am in trouble from wife for the 2 i have already :hey: ). as i am told fry are gaurenteed.

thanks

Dave

If you cant keep the fry and cant give them to your LFS then you have a couple of options.

1. Buy some angels, or any friendly South american cichlid, or a betta, or gouramis or even platies. Introduce these into either the original tank(not reccomended with guppies except for platies), and leave the babies to fend for themselves. Chance are you hungry angels or what have you will down the majority of the fry(my friend does this with great sucess, brings out the angels colours).

2. Advertise any fry you raise on here for free or sell on Ebay, wont get much because common but heck.

Hope this is some food for thought.

i will be keeping 2 small gourami (dwarf or honey or golden, or opaline) in there also, so maybe they will thin numbers, ebay is an option to for giving them away!
