Unusual Betta Colors

I have a gold and purple halfmoon betta which is unusual, and I used to have a cream, purple, red,and blue veiltail betta which I never seen another of

Seems completely usual for male bettas to have those colors with your typical pet store breeding in which no certain colors are to be attained, this is one of the main reasons you can readily find bettas with a variety of specific colors, in big chain pet stores such as Petco or petsmart. You usually won't find more concenatrated, elaborate color patterns though

Lestat, R.I.P was an unusual color so I thought I would buy him. But this one was my pride and joy halfmoon who passed away
