unusal guppy

a friend has tank full of guppies and she brought me a load of youngsters as well as a few adults, as her tank was getting full, now one of the males she has brought me, hasnt got a long tale is nearly fully grown, and is the prettiest little fish i have ever seen, the colours are so vibrant, he's deff a guppie as thats all she has in the tank, oh and he's deff a male.

do you get guppies like this would get a pic but he is such a quick mover it just comes out a blur

Yep. I do. He's a probably a normal Guppy, as opposed to the very inbred, fancy delta tails, and long-tailed Guppies.

i think you might have 1 like i'v got does he have to long bits of tail at each side of his tail then in the middle just a normal sized sethrew tail

yup, very long tails are quite normal, but as Annastasia said, he's inbred

Annastasia cool thats ok i had a bit closer look tonight and he has three black dots, one on the tail one mid body and the other high up and then underneth like purple, and red bits he really is a lovely fish.

Paige your fish sound like split tail guppies i have one male of this variety and he's a lovely fish.
