Hi Mojodex!
That fish is a Malawi cichlid called " The Pearl of Likoma", Melanochromis joanjohnsonae!
Your fish is a female, the males have a beautiful irridescent blue colored body with a blackstriped dorsalfin!
They live only in one locale near the island of Likoma in Lake Malawi and are getting more rare in nature!

YES!!! thats it cheers thai fighter well now thats done 1 question, how do we think it will survive with tangs? or should i move it to the malawi tank?

It may well bully the tangs as it grows but as they have all been added as juvies, you might be OK. If you like the fish - i would see how things pan out. If you have doubts - just return it.

Well, Mojo since you already have a Mbuna tank why not move to that one and maybe find a male as well!?

im not sure yet the problem is that it is currently about 5 times smaller than the mbuna it really is fry size still maybe when it grows up a bit i'll see whats what with it
