Well I currently have a 10 gallon tank that I have had close to 2 years with the fishes within the tank. Well about 3 days ago some of my fishes randomly got sick. I have no explanation because my water parameters are fine and they are feed a wide variety of foods. I have raised almost all the fish in this tank from fry to the adults they are now. I don't want to loose them. I have already put medication in the tank. The diseases present are fin and tail rot and fungus infection. They have become better since the first day I saw them sick. I hope they get better and for this not to happen again.

I'm definitely not very knowledgeable on diseases but I'm pretty sure fin rot is generally caused by a sudden change in the water parameters. Is it possible you had some type of mini cycle due to a power outage or something like that? Even a dead fish in the tank that goes unnoticed and starts to decay can sometimes overwhelm the bacteria for a short time until they can reproduce and multiply to catch up.

Well the only thing that did occur was there was a power outage in my area a few days ago. But it was only for an hour. Also the water parameters have not change. They are constant.

One hour power cut shouldn't have been that stressful. I will say that fungi are just in the air, and maybe you just happened to get a large amount of fungus at once. Sometimes, it just happens, fish get sick sometimes just like people get sick no matter how often we wash our hands and cover our mouthes when we cough and eat healthy. One sickness in 2 years is well ahead of the large majority of fishkeepers, really. I think that I would really only be concerned if this sickness starts repeating and becoming a pattern. One time? It is just random luck of life. 2, 3 ,4, or more times? That's when is has become a pattern and then something needs to be done.
