I have two GSPs in a 180 litre. Had them quite a while now, very slowly raising the salinity. They are both still pretty anxious, don't like viewers on tank, still take to pacing occasionally and the last week or two really getting aggressive with one another..I know they are not sociable creatures and always touch and go whether two were going to work. I have padded out the joint and have special feeding techniques to ensure they arent scrapping too much, but they still do. They havent hurt each other (yet) but one is a lot more nervous than the other and generally the tank doesnt seem at peace. Really considering rehoming one (spoke with Neale who suggested rehome one or get a third, a third wont fit in the capacity of the tank). I absolutely love puffs but dont seem to have much luck keeping them and keeping them happy and really considering throwing the towel in (though has been a particularly bad day and may be just being a bit melodramatic). Something needs to be done though, suggestions/recommendations welcome xx

Awww amy....sorry to hear you're having problems hun  Don't really know what to suggest...I know what I'd do...but it depends if you have space for a bigger tank
Just one thing though...how much time do you spend watching them? Remember, some level of aggression is to be expected, and if you sit and watch and worry, you'll see more of it than you would if you let them just get on with it! My F8's are in a room that doesn't get used much, so I just go in to feed them and watch them for 10 minutes at a time. During feeding time I have seen some nasty behaviour....dread to think what happens when I'm not there!!! I've seen them grab each other and swim off with one in their mouths!!!
The gang of three still pace occassionally, but I've just learned to ignore it....and move the plants to where they pace!

Hope you're feeling a little less anxious today.....you'll sort it out!

Aw thanks hon, felt quite low yesterday which didnt help, will try rearranging the tank a little and see if that helps, also I only watch them for short periods so maybe being too anxious and paranoid ( i think also with our electricity bill I had a shock not from the tanks themselves adding but from something else and was considering shutting one tank down and unfortunately it would be this one if any were to go..) I will continue to watch for the moment, as soon as I see any flesh wounds though....
