Recently my Julii Cory's began breeding, I witnessed the breeding and the egg laying, too keep the eggs safe I removed them into a birthing tank inside the main tank, i ended up with about 15 eggs, non of which hatched any baby corys. this is the second time it's happened, I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do too make sure they hatch? Or is it a possible problem with the fish?

Thanks in advance! :)

There could be a number of reasons why eggs dont hatch - one is temperature of the water... whats your temp?
Its possible they could be in fertile...

Whats your 'birthing tank' - is it a plastic box? - do you put an airstone in there, this is recommended to aireate the water otherwise the eggs will go fungal.

Eggs normally take 3-5 days to hatch - this also varies on water temperature.

The temp is around 77f the birthing tank is plastic, but does have numerous holes to circulate water, but there is no air stone? Thanks for the reply
