The Equillibrium
Fish Fanatic
I have 5 adult angels in 1 heavily stock 46 gallon community tank. My largest specimin who I took to be a male was theoritically(staying with)this other unsexed pearl angel. This "pair" hung out for about week and nobody in the tank gave signs of a soon spawn.
I just came home from school to find the my big angel is indeed a male and has spawned ON THE HEYER of the tank with the most shy angel in the tank. The breeding tubes are out and there are some sloppy straight lines of eggs on the heater. The amle seems to gaurd them heavily and once in a while eat one(please don't tell me hes will eat all of them).
I wanted to move them into a spawn tank for spawning. The spawn tank was cycled, and then it died. I am recycling it now. Of all times to spawn, they choose when there is 5 ppm of ammonia in the spawn tank.
Waht do I do?!
Help!
Thanks!
