Anubias ...Very easy slow growing plant that only needs low light to grow.. The best way to grow and flower Anubias is to grow them out of the water so your most probably was grown out of the water for most of its life, and since its such a slow grower it didn't even notice is now under water..

watch the flower, it slows the plant grow down even more, and rots easily, but try and keep it as long as possible, as it does look good..

This seems to happen a lot with the A. nana and A. barteri. Unfortunately
the flowers rot after a while and you have to remove them. The flowers
keep coming back. I had plants with two flower stems on them, one from each
end of the rhizome.
If you want to grow seeds you need to make sure that the humidity in the air
part of the tank is 100% and that the flower can reach above the surface.
Also it helps to have two or more A nana; the flowers are protected against
self fertilization by the spathe.
By the way, the A. nana grows mainly submersed in the natural habitat; as
a matter of fact it grows much better under water than emersed.

i have two of those! i was wondering what they were - i bought them for a rekord 60 as plants with low light requirements. one of them has flowered and is much bigger than the other. both make a great addition to the tank though

Interesting to know what the plant is,thanks. ;)
I don't know what any of my plants are as the shop just sells them all as aquarium plants. The flower is now sadly dieing but the plant itself has spread quite alot since buying it on wood.
I bought a golden loach and that's why it looks so clean as algae can be a problem.

i cannot see the picture but i have done the same mine has what looks like a small calla lilli flower on it is it the same as yours ?
and if so what is the name of it ?
