ok ive heard under gravel heaters aid the growth of plants is this correct os it worth investing in one

I really can't see it being any different to plants whether you have a regular heater or an undergravel one. What kind of setup do you have?

I don't know anything about live plants, but agree I can't see how it would make a difference. One thing I can say is that most of the undergravel heaters (at least the ones I have seen) are preset, so you cannot adjust the temperature on them, which could be a potential problem.
