Is it worth buying any of the unbranded feedstuffs off ebay

Is it worth using any of the pellets available from angling outlets, the ingredients and nutritional profiles are very simlar or in some cases identical, at a fraction of the aquarist shop prices

you can use Trout pellets or in a powder form /as part of there dietit costs £2.50 a kilo.
if you have a wilkinson store near you they sale tropical flakes £2.99 a 100g tub
jmc catfish pellets are good value £4.50 400g most fish will eat jmc pellets

I was thinking more of the carp and coarse fish pellets which dont contain as much lipids as the trout pellets and you can get them with added krill or spirulina
