I'm grateful to all who sent their love and condolences--but this amazing gal (with the swim bladder disorder--I almost said spin bladder) keeps rallying. I keep on thinking she's dying as she lies on her back breathing hard and then, all of a sudden, she'll jump up and spin, of course, and do a little swim around the tank--usually with her fellow molly. It's crazy, but I really believe he's helping her stay alive!! These fish are just amaziing.... :good:

Just for the heck of it, last night I started some antibiotics since nothing else was working...so who knows?--I'll keep you all posted on this little melodrama!

Lovingly,
Wendy
:friends: ???? :dunno:  :fish:

:good: antibiotics seem to be doing something then, fingers crossed

She's still going! Maybe the antibiotics did help. She still can't swim to the surface so I worry that she's getting enough to eat. Tried putting her in a smaller, shallower bowl and she seemed miserable--didn't eat a thing--so I put her back with her pals... Her tail keeps curling more than I've ever seen--maybe she's propelling herself with it.

Warm fishy thoughts to all,
Wendy :good: :good:

I have a pair of mollies that only have eyes for each other....I know when the time comes and I lose one, the other will probably go too. Their average life span is only 2 years...just remember it's the quality not the quantity...
