I have a sunset platy, 1 has already died, did a 20% change yesterday, it has like white rotting mouth, i think its an ulcear what do i do?

You will need to treat the water with something like Myxazin, which is for bacterial infections (including mouth fungus and ulcers). Not sure where you are located, but if Myxazin isn't available where you are, another similar product can be used. It sounds like mouth rot/fungus to me.

Protozin is not very good for fungal problems and dont know of mytaxin. Dose it list active ingredients, you rearly looking for malicate to be listed

myxazin or melifix would be best.

the sodomites have taken him, R.I.P Sunset!, i have just been out to get some treatment hopefully it wont spread!

Oh shame! Sorry to hear that.

Did you manage to get the Myxazin? You may need this if any of your other fish start showing signs of mouth fungus or ulcers. Try to catch it as early as possible. I've found that if you spot an illness and begin treating it asap, the fish has a good chance of recovering. Leaving something untreated even for a few days can sometimes be too late as it weakens their immune system and that can lead to secondary infections.

Getting the doseage right is very important, too. You'll see that the Myxazin bottle has a little separate measuring cap at the top to help get it right.

yea i got sum, the man at the shop told me to do a small water change and then start the medication, so in 5 or so days everything could be ok

Google Columnaris to be sure that this isn't what is affecting your fish.

Does it look like this?

Columnaris is commonly referred to as mouth rot or mouth fungus, although it is bacterial. Using the anti-bacterial medication (Myxazin or such like) will usually help if it's treated promptly, as I mentioned before.

Well done - let's hope this does the trick and you don't have any more losses.
