On Monday I went to the LFS to get some food and I looked over the tanks. In one tank were a bunch of zebras and a hink of dark grey hiding in the plants. I watched a while and the ugliest guppy I ever saw swam partly out. His color was gunmetal grey ; his fins were tattered and he looked miserable. I couldn't help myself. The poor thing was so homely I didn't think anyone would want him. I thinnk the clerk felt sorry for him to as I got him for a buck.
I brought him home and put him in a quarantine tank with some meds . He stayed on the bottom of the tank till yesterday hiding under the fake plant. This morning he started swimming around and eating. His tail looked alot better and he is no longer a dull grey. He is a beautiful silvery blue with silver dorsal fin. I've got my fingers crossed that he'll be all right. If he makes it I'll post pics of my ugly duckling.
