Well, on saturday I went to my dads, and I am in the middle of cycling my tank, and I was getting down to 0 ammonia in about 24hours, and I was getting hopeful for it being done in the early weeks of January. And my mother understands NOTHING of cycling, and is bed ridden at the moment with flu, so no one could add ammonia. I left on saturday morning at 10, and I was by my tank with the ammonia in the dropper, waiting so when the door bell went, I could add it at the very last second, so I added it and left. And I didnt come back until monday morning, and I was worried all weekend on how far it was going to set me back. Got back monday morning at 8 and the first thing I did before even taking my shoes off was test the water and add the ammonia, well sure enough 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and about 5 nitrate, and I knew that it was because everything has started to die, and it is now taking about 48 hours to get to 0's.

Ugh! That another 2 weeks more, at least!

How can I 'recover' anything?

D.

Thats pretty quick though to go from 12hr drop to 48hr drop, I'm sure it will recover fairly quickly :)
