Ugh Not Again!

oh man i just started this fish thing and i dont think its working out! last night i noticed one of my mollys has like..white stuff on the edge of both eyes and some right above her mouth. i didnt know what it was till I took a good look this morning. I went on a site and it says it could be:

Cottony white growth over lens of eye--Saprolegnia Fungus
or
Clear to translucent film over the lens of the eye and parts of the body-Protozoan Infestation

since theres some above his mouth it could be the 2nd one. i just got done treating for ick as well. do i need to do a water change when im done doing that? i have a baby guppy in a diff tank because the medicine bottle said it is hard on the lil fish. i dont know if i want to put him back in because what if he had ick?? so i dont know if i should treat the lil one as well. but im scared the medicine will kill him.

also...should i put the molly in a diff tank? to do that i would have to put the lil guppy back in the big tank b/c i only have 2 tanks.

I don't know much about lil fish but I have scaless fish which are the same when it comes to medicine and I just do a half dose. Personaly I would leave the lil guy in the small tank and treat the big tank for the molly because it's probly infected your tank. Check to see how contageious it is I have never dealt with that probem. Watch the lil guy to see if he gets ich you don't want to treat if you don't have too.

thanks. so im guessing you buy each seperate?? i looked at my molly today and its getting pretty bad. i am making a special trip to town tomorrow to get the medicine. i hate to but i have to. i feel sorry for the lil guy! and even the lil guppy is picking on him!

EDIT: okay i think its only on his eye. and should i isolate him?

Yes you buy Maracyn 1 and Maracyn 2 seperatly, however you use them together.
