I have noticed over the past few days hair algea has started to grow on my anubis and slate. What should I do before it takes over? Here are the tank specs:

Tank: Juwel Rio 180
Lighting: 2x 45W tubes one nature and one day. On for around 8 hours.
Filtration: Juwel Bioflow, pump 600gb, superfish aqua pro-2 external.
Co2: Tetra co2 kit.
Fertilising: Using some tetra plantmin ATM, going to get some more of a different make as it isn't great.

Any ideas of how to stop it?

increase CO2 and increase circulation...i recommend a koralia 1

i would go with low CO2 too, a pressurized system is better on a tank size like yours, or you need about 4 of those cannisters going

Ok will do when this runs out. At the amount I am putting in it should be finished soon. I was thinking the large TMC aqua-grow might be a good one.

By pressurised, they mean a sytem that uses a co2 cylinder and a regulator, not the aerosol style ones that are used to top up a cylinder.
