hi, if anyone is interested i can get the rare Uaru fernandezyepezi, i want a small group myself but would have to order 20 to get them at a decent price, i don't have room for 20 of them so just seeking interest on the excess fish.
they work out about £50 each, which is roughly half of what they retail at.
any interest just let me know.
i didn't put this in the classifieds area as i haven't actually got the fish yet, and just seeking interest, also they are fairly specialist and very rare and 'hard to get' fish, i feel the most interest may be found here.
cheers, Dave

Gorgous fish, cant have any myself, I sure hope you get some would love to see the pics.

Thats quite high, they had a adult in MA in Taunton for 40 quid, was a bit pricey at the time but it went quick, what do they normally retail at Dave?

they are stunning, think these ones are only small but they are so expensive in shops! around £100! i hope a few other people want them so i can get mine!, they would work out too much if i ordered less than 20, its a good opportunity for anyone who has wanted some or can't find any!
anyway i'll wait and see!!

were they definitely fernandezyepezi glenbo? £40 would be extremely cheap for fernandezyepezi, no wonder it went quick!
Uaru amphiacanthoides are the more common uaru, and are a lot cheaper than these ones, for example i can get the Uaru amphiacanthoides the same size as the fernandezyepezi for £8.

£40 sounds far too cheap for them.

Dave have you seen this ad, its last month but they maybe getting some more save you buying so many http://www.aquarist-classifieds.co.uk/php/detail62_165976.php

yeah i saw that but with £17 delivery its cheaper for me to get these ones, if i ordered less they would still work out cheaper than £60 each, but, like im sure anyone would, i'd prefer to pay £50 rater than £60 haha
i could get them in numbers as little as 5, but i'd still have to pay the same freight etc so works out more expensive, which is why i'd rather get the 20 and get them cheaper.

ohhh with you, I though you had to get 20. Well IF I win the lottery, get a bigger house with a barn I can convert to a fish room I'd have some

LOL I need the barn for the other fish too

It was the panda type was in a display tank with normal chocolate Uarus ,breeding group of tapajos, Altifrons, Daemons, Juruparis, Green Efaciatus, Red Spotted Efaciatus, Brasiliensis and 1 large male Red Devil...that they wont sell to me because someone else has first dibs...hmph!

It is Panda Uaru you meant wasn't it? he was around 5" for £40 and the chocolate ones are £25 for a 9" male, the Daemons where £25 each for 6", Jurupari was £25 for a 12", the sevs where all 8-12" @ £15, Altis £20 for 12", Brasiliensis £15 for 12"

the 10" True Red Devil was £10....i want him bad!

i can get red devils cheaper than that, well by the sounds of it the chocolate(common)uaru were overprices and the panda uaru underpriced! the average price for u.fernandezyepezi is at least £80

What prices can you get Red Devil/Midas Dave? i really want a nice either white and orange or one with black in it.

well they are listed as extra large on the list at just short of £4 then i need to add VAT of 17.5% and share the shipping cost between them and what ever other fish i get, could be anything from £6-£9 i reckan, it doesn't give a size in cm or inch though, just says 'xl'. if you can get to bolton, bas have 2 big red devils about 10" i'd guess, one is white and the other has yellow patch's, both are real red devils but they are about £50 each i think, could knock them down though they been there a while.

I don't really mind if thye are RD's or Midas, infact i would probably prefer the Midas because of the large KoK (lol) on its head.

Can't get to bolton cos i'm in Taunton, Somerset and don't drive lol :p

The shipping share sounds great tho, could you post if i got them in with yours?

whats the rest of the stuff you want in your sig? i think red texas are on there too, and there is flowerhorns, whats rtm?
yeah i could order then post to you, but they would have to go by a courier and unsure of how much that would be.
im not sure when i will be ordering but will definitely let you know.

you will have to let me know what size you would like, obviously the smaller you get the cheaper, on the list the red devils go from 1" which are about £2 each before VAT and postage etc, and the biggest are about 6" and are £9 before VAT etc.

flowerhorns;
they are listed as assorted flowerhorns and they go from about 1.5" at about £2 to 6" at about £12.
then there is flowerhorns listed as 'selected flowerhorns (grade AAA)) they are about 5" and about £70 each before VAT etc, ii assume these are very high quality 'show type' fish! probably not worth getting unless you were very serious about them as they would work out at about £100 each, though saying that these are the ones that come out of asia costing hundreds!
i got mixed up, there isn't red texas on the list, just green texas, very nice fish, just not red! haha

and other than that there is parrot fish, and flowerhorn parrot cross, red terrors, balloon red terrors, green terrors, balloon texas cichlids, peacock bass, cichlasoma bifasciatum, jaguar cichlids, jack dempseys (normal and electric blue) and many more!! haha
