Well, one of the LFS's puts their weekly deliveries out for sale on Thursdays, so I took a trip over intending to get a few cory's to help mess about with the sand in my boyfriend's tank.. we were finding that there was one spot under an arch of driftwood that was collecting all the waste, and because there was a dip - the filter wasn't getting it from there. So, got 2 albino cory's and 2 copper cory's.. but then spotted the tiniest female betta I've ever seen. She was in the usual tank with the other females, but she really did just look so sad and depressed. She was just sitting in a corner and looking into it. The other females were huge and their fins were all torn, but funnily enough - this little girl's weren't. She had really dark stress lines and had no colour in her fins whatsoever though. I just HAD to take her to add to the sorority. So now, I've seen her in my tank I'm glad I did. She is again a PK, but her fins are a mixture of a light lilac, light blue and a dark red. Her body is quite light in colouring as well. She darts about the tank and chases after my algae eater who is twice the size of her. She's so cute, and getting on well in the tank!
