I thought I'd leave a pregnant platy in the main tank for one more night, got up this morning and she'd given birth :(

There's plenty of jave moss in the tank so perhaps some will survive, also got a female krib thats still tending her fry in the same tank, and they are nearly1/2 an inch long now, although each time I spot them there are fewer left due to the four angels and two pairs of rainbow fish in with them.

The kribs first batch of fry born just before Christmas are now nearly an inch long in a 10 gallon tank, soon be time to move them on, theres 31 of them.

Iv'e also got 11 tuxedo swordtails, now a week old and 40 peppered cory fry, 3 weeks old.

The way things are going I'm going to have to buy more tanks, I had intended to try breeding panda cory's next but the kribs have sort of taken over :p

A good way of counting fry when they're still small and relatively immobile is to take a picture of them with a digital camera, load it on your PC, then use the smudge tool to mark each fry so you don't count them twice.

Hi RobertK :)

That's an excellent idea for counting fry. I'll have to remember it so that I can do it when I get a new camera.

I hope to see your posts in the Catfish Cradle, too. :D
