I think the top one is a "Rainbow Shark" or a "Red finned Shark", not sure about the bottom one though :/

I agree looks like a red finned shark to me as well.
how many gallons on litres is the tank.

lol its beginning to look like a blue loach to me now! the shape looks similar to what you posted Wilder.

Man, it gets to like a foot long

The other looks like a dalmation molly

Looks more like the blue botia than the shark to me, look at the tail - much wider than my rainbow shark anyway - his tail comes in a bit before it goes out...erm..rather than being as wide as his body. If you get me.

Bigger pics would help ;)

I 4th the dalmation molly suggestion...the top one's body looks more Botiaish (NEW WORD!) than a shark but Im not to sure

Thanks for all the help!
I just figured that it was a dolmation molly.
As for the top picture, I think it is a blue loach, it looks just like it when I compare each other.

Thanks for all the help

Do they live better in groups? Or should I just have one of them in my tank? And if they grow large, how large do they get in 1 year? Mine currently is about 3~ inches. He is living with 4 dolmation mollys that are about 1inch each,, 3 clown loaches that are about 1.5 inches each, and a blue gourami about 2 inches.

And thanks for all the help! :)
I plan on getting many more loaches, because their colors are really really nice and they love my ocean rock so much for some reason, they keep sucking on the rock and swimming around the rock non stop! :)

Definately not a rainbow or redtailed shark, wrong body and mouth shape to be a Labeo species.

From what i can see in the tiny picture it looks to be a Orange finned loach; Botia rubripinnus, though there a few similar looking species so that is not an exact ID but is the most likely as this is the most commonly traded species.
They are a fairly large growing loach species which reach around 8 inches quite easily, as adults they are pretty aggressive and will attack other loaches and similar looking fish so unless you have a very large tank then more loaches is not recomended. They will also eat smaller fish such as guppies and tetras and have been known to eat the eyes of other bottom dwellers like Corydoras, so all in all not a great community fish.
