hey i finally ran out of those nutrafin packets so went to the store to get some yeast and baking soda...they didn't have anything labeled specifically as "baker's yeast" or "brewer's yeast" or anything like that...they had one for bread machines that was Yeast and Absorbic Acid...and then another, smaller package called "yeast levure" which contained Yeast and Monoglyceride Citrate.....will either of these work or should i be looking for plain old yeast in the ingredients? thanks in advance!

Not sure if this will really help answering your question, but I found this article on DIY CO2 systems fantastic - there is also a section for different types of yeasts.

thanks bloo, although it doesn't outright state that this is the right yeast, it sounds like either one will work just fine...great link BTW!
