1. My pygmy corys dont seem to like the sinking food. I have 2 sorts of pellets, a large yellowish one and small brown pellets. Both are intended for catfish but the only fish in my tank that are intrested in them are the platys and neons.

The pygmy corys are eating leftover food (they must be cause they are getting bigger) but i have read that this isnt enough for their diet. But there isnt much i can do if they wont eat the sinking food.

2. I was thinking of adding an Oto to my tank, but i dont have any algae. Will algae wafers be enough for the little fella?

My pygmy corys get flake food every day (they eat the leftovers from my neons) and they also seem to like Hikari catfish wafers. Apart from that, I put live/frozen food in once a week and I've also seem them round the courgette I put in for my ottos.

I wouldn't recommend adding an otto if you have no algae, they can be difficult to acclimatise and also like to be kept in groups. It can take them a while to recognise algae wafers or vegetables as food, I've got loads of algae though so haven't had an issue!
