Would it be possible to put a pair of Kribs in with my jewel cichlids? My jewels dont seem to be to aggresive at all. I know that this behavior can seem decieving till you put new fish in :/ But they are still juvenial so i would introduce the kribs at a young age as well. Also when i was at the LFS I was looking at discus. the price of the regular ones and the wild ones was like $100-$200. What is the big difference? I think the non-wild ones were alot more beutiful.

If the Jewels turn out to be a pair they will shred the kribs when they spawn.

Wild Discus have a rather high freight cost because only five or six fish go into a single box when they are imported whereas smaller fish are packed 100 to 250 in the same space. Some imported discus are as nice as the best hybridized fish that have been worked on for twenty or thirty generations to improve them. However they cost upwards of $250.00 each are much more likely to be seen in a UK or Japanese fish store where some people will pay the price.
