Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps

I watched 2 episodes of 2 pints of lager last night it seems I had missed a series

Janet and Jonny have got the baby and Janet is a baby bore and in the other Gaz took HRT pills and became emotional

Class TV and Will Mellor is just a superb comedy actor

Yeah I missed most of series five but i saw the finale when Jonny got shot and you had to vote whether to keep it going or to let him die and end the series! Eek they are advertising it on the radio now thats a first!

Two pints rules you guys! I must have seen all the episodes through loads of times and am really looking forward to sunday night, the start of the new series. I am also thinking of buying the dvd collection so i've got them for whenever i want. Will mellor, ralph little and natalie casey are all great actors, in fact the whole cast is great.
If you havn't seen it WATCH IT. It's on bbc3 fri, sat, sun, mon, tue, it's usually on quite late like midnight or something. I think it's on uk tv gold as well.
:)

psh! you won't regret it. noone get deny the fabulousness of Spaced.
my bf hadn't ever seen it when he met me, now he's an even bigger Simon Pegg fan than I am!!

if you've seen Shaun of the Dead, it's the same sense of humour (and cast, and directors) as that.
lots of cast crossover with Black Books too (aka Bill Bailey).

everytime i go to Camden Barfly i want to go sit in that seat and do those elvis impressions, then run outside and have that fake gunfight. it's too orangey for crows!

<3

Oh my god!!! I knew I recognised that place when I went to see The Rakes!! :hyper: I am a massive Spaced fan and Shaun of the Dead is fantastic as well.

We've already watched the first episode of the new series of Two Pints.
The BBC are putting them online a full week before they're broadcast.
You can watch it online from the BBC website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/twopints

I'm glad to say that the writers haven't lost their touch.

Dance Monkey Boy!

Great Link.
I was going to watch it, the what happened in the last episodes scenes were rolling, then i turned it off. Gonna save it for sunday night, never the same when you watch it on the laptop.

I would have watched it at work in my lunch break but my pc doesnt have sound! So I'll have to wait til Sunday but its not too far away so thats ok!

Natsuko - the Spaced DVDs are definitely a good prezzie! I never get sick of watching them.

How could you not like Shaun of the Dead though?! It was class and had me laughing my head off. Good to see that Simon Pegg translates to the big screen.

With 2 pints, I think I missed all of the first few episodes after Johnny got shot so was well confused when I tuned back in and discovered he was with another women!

All the cast are excellent, but Ralph Little and Will Mellor are both excellent comedy actors. I particulary enjoy the scenes with them in the pub, or with Gaz and his brother in the garage. Pure class.
:D

I asked my bf if he'd watched Spaced he said yes and that he liked it so will prob get him it! Dunno why I didnt like shaun of the dead! I think I found Dawn of the Dead funnier I suppose (don't ask)

The series your on about with Jonny and the other woman was before he got shot think it's series 3 or 4 cant remember which! The new series which starts on Sunday is the one continuing with Jonny being shot or I think it is but could be wrong!

I think I'm gonna have to buy season 5 but it was a bit pricey for just one season!

Yeah Munch is funny I liked it when he first came into the series lol Soooo gonna have to watch some more tonight I think

My son is on the 'London comedy circuit' - stand-up and writing - has an agent and everything! he really rates Spaced and says 3 pints is pants - makes him fume that they make it and not his stuff.... but I just love it - can't get enough! know where I'll be, Sunday, 10pm - with a lager too! and I don't get Spaced - I mean, it's ok, but.... mind you, Simon Pegg is a god - just adored him in Dr Who! There's another whole 'can't wait' thread. Tenant is promised us in March - BUT WHEN????????

Your son probably doesn't like it because they are more successful than him. I bet if he wasn't in the comedy circuit he would enjoy it. :hey:

Well, that explains the confusion then! Will definitely watch 2 pints on Sunday (if I can resist watching SirMs BBC link til then) seeing as I haven't missed anything after all!

Simon Pegg in Dr Who is the only episode of the last series I actually saw. He was pretty funny, playing the weedy guy who gets to be powerful because he's clever, and did make me wish we could see him do some more guest appearances.
