LUK ITS A FUZBALL
I went to the lfs today and went to the betta section, naturally, because they just got a new shipment.*
What immediatly caught my eye was a marble platimum silver-and-black Super-Delta (might be a Delta) male. He seemed active, but he wouldn't flare. I figured some just don't so I got him.
As I was leaving, a small bowl caught my eye. It couldn't have been larger than the tiny, ridicolously TINY cups the other bettas were in, with a completely open lid. I peered in and noticed a green female with prominant stress stripes, although otherwise she was in pretty good condition. I bought her. I don't know what tail type she is, though.
Anyway, I put the male (Ares) in a 3g tank with white gravel, a plant, and a mermaid, and put the female (Jupiter) in a 2g with lighting and bubbling (the bubbling I might turn off), white gravel, fake driftwood, and two plants.. Anyway, the female likes to hide out at the bottom and the male likes the top. Pictures:
Ares, the male. In this picture he has extremely visable red fins, but not usually.
Jupiter, the female. Could someone maybe tell me the fin type if they can find out?
* A thing that irks me.. the petshopkeeperthing said that crowntail females didn't exist and females had no tail type, which kind of bothers me.

And two, suprisingly, he's a flaring machine. I scooted his tank next to Jupiter's again and he started showing off, although she still wasn't interested.
Beautiful.
